FCWC Student Network
Welcome to the Student Network page for the Federated Conservationists of Westchester County Inc.
Our mission is to unite students all throughout the County in environmental advocacy.
Feel free to contact us via Students@fcwc.org with any questions.

Campus Engagement
We provide numerous resources for campus engagement. Assistance with the creation of a campus club for the environment, a student government association committee, or even support in getting guest speakers for an event.

Connections to Local Organizations
Members of our Student Network will be able to access a wealth of resources for community engagement. We can connect students to their local Conservation Advisory Committee, or other local environmental organizations.

Environmental Advocacy
Members of our student network are given a first-hand experience in communication with legislators for policies in environmental reform. We provide students with platforms to address the County Board of Legislators and State Legislature.

Get Involved!
There is a global movement occurring among students in the advocacy of our climate. From Europe, to Africa, and South America we are witnessing numerous students take a stand for climate change. This network is a chance for you to get involved in a global movement for our ecological future.

2022 Youth Climate Action Summit
The Federated Conservationists of Westchester County invite you to join this momentous student-led event for youth engagement and climate action! This exciting opportunity will take place on the virtual conference platform Gather Town.
The FCWC Youth Climate Action Summit aims to engage students with passionate Youth Leaders who have become experts on Climate Action topics. Students attending the summit will also have the opportunity to network with established green organizations to learn about internships, volunteer, and paid work in the environmental field.
The FCWC Youth Climate Action Summit will be free for all attendees, held virtually, and hosted on a Saturday - ensuring no conflicts with instructional times and transportation needs. We hope students, teachers, and young professionals will all join us for this galvanizing event! Registration is free but required for this event. Orientation for Gather Town will be on Friday, April 1st. Links to the Summit and Orientation will be sent to registrants only.
