The webinar was organized and run by FCWC Student Intern Paul Presendieu, with help from fellow organizers Abe Butler-Baker and Andrew Basta. Students shared their experiences as environmentalists and climate activists---Check out this News 12 report featuring one of the student presenters, Anusha Vaish:
My name is Sunaya DasGupta Mueller, I am 15 years old, and I am a teen journalist. I live in Rockland County, NY, and am a sophomore at a private high school in New Jersey. I have written as a teen reporter for Ms. Magazine. I have also been a Scholastic Kid Reporter at the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps for four years and written many articles. I have had the opportunity to interview a variety of people, including Malala Yousafzai’s father, Ziauddin Yousafzai about his new book called Let Her Fly. In addition to my journalism, my other hobbies include playing classical guitar, acting in my Shakespeare company, and dancing classical Indian dance Odissi.
