1) POSITION FOR NEW OFFICER!
Officers organize events for the school year and coordinate with students
from all the different schools involved in WESC. They meet at most once a month
and attend all the monthly events. If you're interested, write us a few
paragraphs about why you would be fit for the position, and any proposals you have
to add to the program next year. Due July 31st! (Contact info below)


2) LAST EVENT OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!
WHAT: “WESC SAILING FESTIVAL” Celebrate the end of finals with SAILING, LIVE
MUSIC, FOOD AND FRIENDS!!!
WHEN: Saturday, June 11, at 12:00 noon, Sailing starts at 2 pm
WHERE: Riverfront Park in Beacon

WHY: Celebrate the end of the school year with a sailing trip on the Hudson
River aboard the Woodie Guthrie. We will have live music, and food. Bring your frisbees, soccer balls, volleyballs and friends! Lend your creativity to drawing the new 2006 WESC and SNAP! banners. We will also begin planning for next year’s WESC events, programs, and activities. This is a great way to introduce your friends, parents and teachers to WESC, so invite ANYONE you’d like!
