POSITION FOR NEW OFFICER AVAILABLE!!
The WESC officer core is made up of five HS students, who are actively
involved in
planning WESC activities and events throughout the school year.
We have one more spot left
for next year.
If you would like to be part of it for WESC '06, write us a page
about why you would be fit for the position, any proposals you
have for next year to make
the program better, and let us know why you are interested in environmental
issues.
High School Freshman through Seniors are welcome!!!

MAY EVENT:
THIS Sunday, May 22nd is the Seining event from 2:30 to 4pm at
the Beczak Environmental
Education Center in Yonkers. For Directions:

It'll be fun! You get to wear those rubber pants, and learn about
water issues and marine biology

JUNE EVENT:
WHAT: “WESC SAILING FESTIVAL” Celebrate the end of
finals with SAILING, LIVE MUSIC, FOOD AND FRIENDS!!!
WHEN: Saturday, June 11, at 12:00 noon, Sailing starts at 2 pm
WHERE: Riverfront Park in Beacon
WHY: Celebrate the end of the school year with a sailing trip on
the Hudson River aboard the Woodie Guthrie. There will also be
live music, and food. We will also begin planning for next year’s
WESC events, programs, and activities.This is a great way to introduce
your friends to WESC, so invite anyone you’d like!
