considerable open space and natural areas. Preserves, sanctuaries and
conservancies are passive recreational areas for nature study, photography
and quiet reflection. Mixed-use parks have facilities for active sports.

extensive salt marsh and the largest meadow in southern Westchester. Its woods, fresh
